Sooooo Busy

Sorry I dropped off the face...of the continent. Craft fair last weekend and one this Saturday too. Lots of other things crowding my creative juices. My main claim to fame is Catnip mice, then I am making reusable shopping bags out of feed bags... and more pin cushion Owlies. I will try to take some pictures and post. This is a little bone I am throwing you!

Preview of a Few Wedding Pics

Julie and Don are the most unlikely perfect fit you'll likely ever find. I mean, Disney meets Harley Davidson and all is well? Yup. It just couldn't be any more amazing. They have quite the story these 2 but it is their story to tell. Suffice it to say God brought them together and they will be helpmeets to eachother. Katelyn is the real winner here. To have an instant Dad who loves her and is devoted to them both... Julie wins because she never really had to play the dating game. God is bigger than dating and online services!! I wish you God's Best and a Huge amount of happily ever after!

I Love You Mom. Happy Birthday!!

I Love You More Than I Can Say

You Filled Our Lives With Love Each Day

You Cooked, You Cleaned, You Created Beautiful Things With Those Two Small Hands And That Dutiful Heart

You Are So Much More Than What You Do. But That Helped Us Put A Label On It Because You Didn't Seek Praise.

I Only Wish I Could Have Lavished More Love And Praise On You When I Lived Nearer. There Has Never Been One Dearer To My Heart.

I Love You More Than Smooth Skin, Perfect Teeth, Easy Conversation. I Love You Today Because You Are God's Gift And Provision In My Life As Mother, Teacher, Friend.

So I Send My Greetings Through My Sister And I Say I Love You Mom And Happy Birthday. Your Chocolate Will Be In The Mail Today!!

Barb, Mo and Robb

This is such a great picture. Mo is 7 mos. in this shot and clearly the ruler of the family. It is so sweet to see pictures of her growing up. Almost takes the sting out of not being there... Almost. Thanks for my great pictures... Keep them coming.

Someone in This Picture is Getting Married!!!

Let's see... I am already married. Today is our 28th Anniversary! Katelyn is a little too young to get married, we'll give her a few.... You Guessed it!!

Julie King will wed Donald Lincoln on September 24th!! Talk about shock! Julie is one of the sweetest friends I have. We love each other. We just aren't very good at keeping in touch. This picture was taken at her house in February when we "dropped" in on her. That's how we do things... The Shock Method. I am just now beginning to think soundly again. But I just can't wipe the grin off of my face!!
Congratulations you two!

I Love Facetime!!

Last night Jenny called. We had a great visit via Facetime on our Macs. Then I realized that Jenny lined up with the picture I have on the desktop of Mo... So it's Jenny's head on Mo's body. It made me laugh and we just had to have some fun.
Of course we had to visit with our sweetie Granddog, Sakura.
Action shot...
Jenny with Mo's hands and feet! Auntie Jenny.

Somewhere in that blackness is a fast licker and some eyeballs.
Isn't Sakura cute. Looks like she's conducting an orchestra.
There's the eyes!
Ain't love grand. She knows the momma that feeds her.
Jenny will be visiting us soon and we are getting excited!!

Always in the Mood for Turtleback

It started as a casual question. Wanna go up Turtleback tomorrow? Joe had recently gotten a pair of five finger "shoes" he wanted to test out. They have vibram soles and are a part of the Barefoot running craze.
The trail was a bit rocky and maybe not the best hike for the first time out of the "box".
We didn't have any pics together so this was a shot when we paused on a bench on our way back down.
When a trail is steep it is easier to go up fairly quickly. The stride had to be much shorter on the way down. Still we had a great hike and lunch on the top. The view is always so amazing.
Joe at Ship's Peak looking over Nordstrom Lane and Crow Valley.
We had to look very hard to find any fun vegetation. It has been very dry and there were no flowers to speak of. But these are amazing. I don't know their name but we did find the rinds having been eaten like a kiwi.

Finally we took a picture of the map
My hair was wet from sweating. Joe kept the pace up and we made it in record time. Only two smallish pauses. He was killing me.
Ship's Peak anyone???

I love this picture of the Wikstroms!

Matt and Andrea had just come into the reception area at the family center and were introduced as Mr and Mrs Wikstrom. It was a great wedding with lots of beautiful details to make things beautiful and elegant. Their smiles seem to be the most lovely of details at the moment :)
The cutting of the cake was an amazing creation from the Cheesecake Factory, for the family and attendants. Beautiful red cupcakes and gluten free creations were plentiful for guests.
The weather simply could not have been nicer. I am sure I got a little sunburn.
The white chocolate curls on the outside, the roses, and topped with a "W" really spell elegant to me. Lovely... We also enjoyed music from a string quartet from Seattle. I loved the music and wish they would be playing at church tomorrow.
So God Bless you two lovebirds and have a wonderful Honeymoon.

So Sue Me

Some of the following pictures are re-runs.. So sue me. Some pictures are worth repeating, and others, well they just were just at the right place at the right time. I hope you enjoy this pathetic attempt to catch up on many months of slacking off. It's not that I don't care, it's just too many irons in the fire.

Significant and Not so... pictures

This is the day Angie has waited for! Certification in black and white. Meet the official Pharmacy Tech!
Our many trips to Eastern WA are long but oh so scenic. In May we still had significant amounts of snow on Snoqualmie Pass. It was beautiful. Even in July there were still remnants of snow.
My sweet birdie purse was given and made by my friend Kathy. It's an early bday present she says.
Laura and Rob's cake was reminiscent of cup cake wars. I loved it. No fussing with cutting and it just looked great. Tasted good too.
Angie and Mo were mind melding.
This is as fresh as they get. Still damp from being born.
Jenny and Megan, the best roommate situation you could ever ask for.
Mo at 6 months and her dear Momma.
Rick having been "prepped" for his colonoscopy. Came through with flying colors.

Randomness
