To Catch a Thief

It used to be only a TV  title. But here on Orcas Island it takes on new meaning. Earlier this week we had a break in at our office in town.  The thief stole two computers and a portable drive.  We would have never known who the culprit was if not for our surveillance cameras.  It was quite an interesting situation to work along with local law enforcement to ID the thief and wait patiently for him to resurface. On Monday in the wee hours the crime was committed. By Thursday afternoon they had him in custody.  The goods were still in possession  and must be used for evidence.  We now hope justice is served in our courts.  Good Job deputy and husband.
