The Many Crosses of Easter 2009

Our Awana Cubbies decorated this first cross.
John Heath tied all the knots on this fishers of men cross.
My contribution, meaning Jesus made his sacrifice "for you" thus making an ugly cross beautiful
Terry MH made the Orthodox cross Wish I could read it and tell you more...
The Berdan's made the Eye of God cross
The striking cross wrapped with barbed wire and red spikes was deeply moving
Wood artistry by Mark N., very lovely
Jenny Nichol's amazing artistry with welding.
Hele's painting was very expressive. She had many paintings on display
Diane James's lilies, Madison P.'s pink cross with rocks and Mark's in scale with others.
Many members created crosses to decorate the church for the Easter Weekend. It could be made out of anything you choose. Your personal gift to Jesus and the Church. This Madrona Cross is simple and beautiful because of it. (extremely heavy too)
Cross out of Deer fencing, fishing nets and shells
Gigantor RR ties
The flower cross that kids decorate during service and then it gets taken outside for all to enjoy.

Love all the creativity. What a great idea! Making our own cross, makes us think about our own sins. Alot of people don't think there is sin anymore.
Thanks for sharing.
